Lumi is designed around privacy. Your data stays on your device.
All tasks, reminders, conversations, and settings are stored locally on your device using SQLite. We do not have servers that store your personal data. We do not require you to create an account.
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
When you use the conversation feature (LLM integration), your message content may be sent to the LLM provider (e.g., OpenAI, Alibaba Cloud) for processing. This is necessary for the natural language understanding feature to work.
If you use the proxy mode (recommended), messages are routed through our Cloudflare Worker, which does not log or store message content. The Worker acts as a pass-through proxy only.
If you provide your own API key (developer mode), messages are sent directly to the LLM provider, subject to their privacy policies.
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to improve the app. This includes data such as app version, device type, and feature usage patterns. No personal or task-related data is included in analytics.
When you use the data export feature (Plus/Pro), your data is exported as a file on your device. We do not receive or store exported data.
Lumi integrates with the following services:
Lumi does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since no account is required and no personal data is stored, this is inherently protected.
We will notify users of material changes to this policy through the app. The "last updated" date at the top will be revised accordingly.
